Expired Coupons

For the last year or 2, I was doing very well going from rags to riches just by using coupons.  My life had become so much better with each and every coupon that I used.  I had tried various work at home opportunities, and using coupons was where I had found the most money.

I was using coupons for just about anything that I bought...  at the grocery store, pharmacy, dining out, and much more.  The biggest deal for me was that my closest grocery store had been accepting expired coupons.  That was really great!  I never had to worry which coupons had expired and which coupons were good, because they were ALL good there.

Just today, I went to my favorite grocery store which is called Tops and is located in the D & L Plaza on Broadway in Depew.  They had signs at all the registers stating that they will no longer be accepting expired coupons.  There were other rules which were new, too.  They will no longer be doubling any more than 4 coupons for any particular product per bonus card per day.

I really don't know what is happening here.  I think the manufacturers may be cracking down on the stores or something.  This old policy of accepting expired coupons had been a great scam and a great way to get more loyal customers.  Tops on Broadway in the D & L Plaza in Depew is really not that far away from Walmart, Wegmans, or Target.  Personally, Tops is really not that low with their prices, either.  Walmart, Wegmans, and Target all have many grocery items that are lower priced.

I didn't mind Tops higher prices at all.  I just waited for sales, and then I used my coupons even if they had already expired.  I was extremely happy shopping at Tops on Broadway in the D & L Plaza in Depew.  Now, myself, along with many others who depend on using coupons to better their lives, will all need to begin looking for other stores to shop at.

The stores are already there, and the sales are already there.  We will just have to learn to shop with coupons that are not expired again.  This should not be any huge problem.  After all, it is how we all used to shop.  If we want to continue saving money, though, Tops is just not going to be the right place to do that anymore.

There already is enough competition, and IF ALL of us people who have been shopping at Tops in Depew using our expired coupons will ALL boycott Tops, there is an extremely slight chance that Tops will eventually need to lower their prices throughout their store.

Otherwise, we can ALL find better deals and better prices elsewhere.  It really upsets me to need to post this information about using expired coupons along with the new coupon use policy at Tops on Broadway in the D & L Plaza, because I have been a loyal customer for many, many years, and I thought that I would be a loyal customer forever, but Tops is changing their coupon policy, not me.

Major Problem! Great... LM5 is down!

OK, so I haven't kept up with my daily posts on this board.  I was always going to, but things kept getting in the way.  Anyway, LM5 is down now.  listmy5 is closed.  Suddenly...  No word from the owners, etc!  That was my new writing site that I was so proud to be writing on to earn money by working at home.  It was fun writing articles online and getting paid to do that, but the fun is over now.  Geez, what a sad day...

ListMyFive (listmy5) is gone now.  What a shocker!  I had no idea that one day I would try to go to LM5 (listmy5) and they would suddenly be gone, closed down...  forever...  What the heck?!  Even eHow told all their writers in advance of all their doings.  They even offered to buy all or our articles!  I sure miss eHow, and the good old days...  What a bummer!

Please leave a comment if you wrote for LM5.  Maybe you know more about what is going on at ListMyFive than I do.  I can assure you, though, that I did receive my last payment from LM5 this month.

Oh geez...  Now what are you all doing?!  I guess I am going to have to find a new way to work at home to earn money.  I wasn't earning much money for writing articles online for ListMyFive anyway.  So, I guess it's no big loss...  I had over 150 articles on there, though!

I did invest a lot of time into LM5, and I thought that they had great potential.  To all of you former writers of ListMyFive, I will surely miss you!!!  Good Luck to everyone, everywhere, who is trying to earn money by working at home!!!

All comments are greatly appreciated!!!  Thank you all!!!

EDITED:  LM5 is up and running again.  I am not sure how much faith I have in them after that episode, though.

Blogging

I really enjoy having my own blog.  I never thought I could do this.  I always thought that you had to know stuff to start blogging, but it is easy enough for anyone to do.  You can be professional, be yourself, or whatever.  You can blog about things you know, or even learn about things to blog about.  It all just depends on what your interests are.

I was really scared when I started this blog, but then I started two more blogs shortly afterwards.  Maybe someday these blogs will earn money, but either way, I am enjoying my new experience.  I probably should post more often.  LOL  That might bring in some new readers.

Well, that's why I am posting now.  It has been awhile since I wrote anything in this blog.  I know people are reading it.  They are probably looking for ways to earn money by working at home.  I am in such a slump right now, though.  It is hard to think about what to try next.  I really enjoy writing articles online, but LM5 (ListMyFive) just isn't working out right now.  I have only earned $4.44 so far this month with 153 articles.  That is pretty low earnings.

For now, I am trying to at least write a few articles on List My Five each month, stay on the leader board, and stay on the featured member board.  So far, that is going well.  It is kind of sick how easy it is to get on the leader board and to be a featured member, though.  LOL  There really is not much competition on LM5...

Oh well...  I am off to think...  Think, think, think...  I know something really great is out there, and I AM going to find it!  There are many people who work at home and earn really great money.  I plan on being one of those people, and letting you all know how to do it, too.  I will post again soon.

The Lindt RSVP Chocolate Thing...

I don't think I am going to do the Lindt RSVP chocolate thing.  It sounds pretty interesting, but it costs $49 to start.  It's not that I don't have the money, it's just that I decided back when I learned that you can earn money online with no investment that I would only do things from now on that are FREE.  I think that I have already spent enough money for getting into things that I thought would be worth it.  Many of those work at home ventures were fun, though, and the Lindt RSVP kit is certainly worth it, too.

I would be having my own Lindt RSVP chocolate parties, have my own website, earn money from people I get to join, etc.  That would probably mean just selling to family, anyway.  hehe

I think I'll just put that whole Lindt chocolate thing on the back burner for now.  Maybe I should just eat some chocolate and write some more articles online instead.  It's free!

Chocolate!

No, I still haven't written another article for factoidz yet.  LOL  I know.  I said I would try one more time.  It is on my 'to do' list.  Meanwhile though, I did make the Leader Board again on LM5.  That was first on my list anyway.

I also joined another writing site.  I haven't written anything there yet, either.  The site is called skyword, and I had to apply to prove myself worthy to write there.  I was accepted.  The problem there is that I had joined the health and beauty section which means that is all I can write about.  The only topics available seem to be beauty topics.  I don't know anything about beauty!  Maybe after posting this, I will go see if any topics have come up for health.  I could write about health easy enough.

Then, there is this other writing site I have been looking into.  It's called seekyt.  I don't know...  LOL  What kind of name is that?!  This online writing site works along with google adsense.  That means I would need to earn at least $100 before getting paid.  I don't know if I will ever earn $100, so it is not all that appealing to me right now.  I almost joined, and I probably will.  I guess it can't hurt.

Also, after posting on my other two blogs, I noticed the same ad on each blog right under my new posts.  This ad was for chocolate lovers.  I couldn't resist.  I went directly to their site, read it over a bit, and signed up to be a Lindt Consultant.  Not a clue how that will work out...  It is just another way to earn money by working at home.  I think it's free.  hehe  Maybe I should have read a little more about it.  Anyway, you get your own website and stuff.  I will have to post more about this when I have more information.  I do love chocolate, though!  All chocolate, but especially Lindt chocolate!

I do wonder why this ad was following me around, though.  I mostly only write about writing online, but I guess I write about earning money at home, so this would qualify.  As long as it is free, it sounds pretty exciting.

In a Slump

I know I said I would give factoidz one last try, but I haven't yet.  I am in a slump right now.  It is so discouraging being rejected.  I will, though.  I am still trying to think of something to write about that will be totally different than anything I have ever written about before.  I have to!  Otherwise, they may reject it for being duplicate content again.

It kind of makes me really mad that factoidz would insinuate that I would ever be so stupid as to submit anything which would be duplicated, but it also makes me want to try even harder to prove that I can write there.  Other people write there, and I have seen so many bad articles.  Articles using I, me, and my...  misspelled words, and just plain junk.

It was quite a shocker that ehow suddenly quit paying, too.  I sold all my articles that I wrote there.  It feels weird, like a part of me is gone!  ehow is where I first started writing.  Those were my first works, and they made good money, too.  Oh well, it's time to move on...  I should probably delete all their links.  Those articles won't earn me anything anymore, only ehow.

I need to write more articles on List My Five, too.  I am about to fall off from the leader board!  LOL  I really need to catch up there, but I am not really sure why.  I don't even know what is going on there.  I'll probably slap a few articles up on LM5, and then worry about factoidz.

One Last Try...

OK.  I have tried writing for factoidz.  My 1st article was rejected as duplicated content, which it totally was not.  My 2nd article was published after they made me edit it twice, and my 3rd article was rejected.  I am beginning to feel like a real failure!  Normally, I can write about anything I want and any way I want.  I am not used to rejection.  I have read hundreds of articles on factoidz written by many of their other writers, and I don't see anything special about them.  Sure, some of them have many facts, but there are many others that are just plain articles.  That's what I write...  Just plain articles.

I have been down in the dumps lately and feeling pretty rotten about all of this rejection.  The way I see it is three strikes and I'm out.  I haven't exactly had three strikes yet.  I sort of did, but my 2nd article was published.  It took editing twice, though.  Anyway, that is two strikes for me.  I might as well go for my third, and then I can justifiably put myself out of my misery and write somewhere else.

I really don't see anything great about writing for factoidz anyway.  It's just that I have alot of great friends who are happily writing articles on that site, and I have heard that they pay pretty well.  My 2nd article has only earned one cent, though, so I really don't see any huge fortune that I will be missing out on there.

So...  here I go!  One last try...

HubPages

I received a suggestion about writing on HubPages.  I think this might be an awesome idea.  I have heard that HubPages pays pretty well for articles written online.  I finally remember what my problem was with HubPages when I joined about a year ago.  I was dreadfully afraid to join Google Adsense.  I didn't know what it was, and had no intentions of joining anything new.

I kind of looked into it, but not much.  Google Adsense only pays you once you meet a minimum earnings of $100.  Now though, my blog pays through Google Adsense.  My articles on Bukisa and Infobarrel do, too.  I think it would be really cool to write for HubPages now, and add another site to build my earnings up faster to reach my first payout.

Meanwhile, the biggest thing I have going for me right now is using coupons.  Coupons are a real lifesaver.  Coupons are so awesome!  I am saving so much money that it is really easy sticking to my budget.  That seemed impossible to do before I started using coupons.  I am also very lucky, too.  My main grocery store accepts expired coupons, so I rarely run out of them.  I only wish that I had started way sooner using coupons.

Good Luck everyone with whatever you are doing right now to earn money by working at home, and I hope you all have a fantastic week!  I wrote another article on Factoidz.  LOL  It will probably need editing again...  Facts!  hehe  They will probably want me to add some facts again for some odd reason...

OK... Now I am Excited Again!

Joining Factoidz was a really huge thing for me to do.  Factoidz is for professional writers.  They don't just accept anyone on their site.  You need to apply to write for Factoidz OR you can use another writer's referral link.  By using a referral link, you do not need to apply.  This is the best way to join.

I do not consider myself a professional writer by any means at all.  I have written articles online, but anyone can do that.  I joined Factoidz through a referral link, and I am now really excited!  It took a bit of work to write my first article which they tossed as trash and claimed that it was duplicated content.  Then, I wrote my second article which I had to edit twice.  It turns out that all they wanted was for me to add more facts.  That was easy!  Here is the link to my first article that I actually published on Factoidz:

How to Get Over Your Fear of Birds

I am really excited now that I am finally in with the best writers.  I never would have thought that it would have been so easy!  I even made a dime already just for publishing my first article.  I think I will stay with Factoidz for now, but as a friend suggested, I might also try Hubpages.  I joined Hubpages about a year ago, but I never wrote anything there.  I guess it's the rules.  I really hate rules.  I hate reading the rules, learning the rules, and I hate following the rules...

If anyone else would like to consider joining Factoidz, here is my Referral Link.

Oh, by the way, eHow must have had another sweep.  I am missing another two of my articles there.  I still have 63 of them, though.

The Dirt For the Day... Lousy Factoids...

Here it is.  Two days since I posted here.  My second article was returned to me for editing with absolutely no explanation why.  I changed the wording and title a bit, and resubmitted it.  It took about a day for Factoidz to reject it again.  LOL  At least this time they said that I had to add more facts.  I reluctantly added some facts, and resubmitted it again.

I have about had it with Factoidz.  I am not much for rules, and they sure have enough of them.  You can write about your life experiences, but you are not allowed to use words like I, me, or my.  Come on, Factoidz.  Give me a break!  In other words, you cannot write about your own experiences.  You need to write about facts.  Yes, I am learning more and more by each day.

I have been waiting again for over a day, and I expect to receive my final decision on whether Factoidz will finally accept my article or not.  I am so disgusted right now that I really do not even care if Factoidz accepts my new article or not.  There are many other online writing websites available that I can choose from.

I am so excited to find out if my second article will be accepted, but I am also so disgusted at the same time.  I don't think it is worth my time to write for Factoidz.  Well, that is the dirt for the day.  Lousy Factoidz...  Hopefully, I will be back posting again real soon with the news of whether Factoidz accepted my article or not.  If they accept it, I might be so happy that I will try to publish another article.  I don't know, though.  It just all seems so useless.

My Striving to Publish an Article on Factoidz

Here is the deal.  My first article that I wrote for Factoidz was rejected.  They took 3 or 4 days to finally review it.  Then they said it was duplicated content.  I never saw my article again.  Factoidz just trashed it.  It sure is a good thing that I had made a copy of it before submitting it.  At least I put it to good use.  I published it on List My Five instead.

Then I wrote another article.  My second article was returned to me overnight.  Factoidz returned my second article saying that I had to edit it before submitting it.  They did not even say what was wrong with it.  So, I changed a few things.  I changed some of the wording, added some things, got rid of some things, and I think I even added a word or two in the title.

Now I am very nervous about this whole thing.  Maybe I should have waited and asked someone if they could figure out what was wrong with my new article.  I figured, though, if I can't write an article on my own that is good enough for Factoidz, I just don't belong there.

Writing online is definitely not that hard.  Don't get me wrong if you have never written online.  It is really easy!  I would never want to scare anyone out of writing online with my horror stories.  Factoidz is a little rougher on their writers, though.  They expect their writers to be professional.  LOL  I do not consider myself a professional writer.  I just sit down and write.

Excitement Grows Again!

Thank you so much!  I got a comment yesterday that really hit me in a good way.  You know, this IS my way of thinking.  That is why I find writing so easy to do.  It's funny, but I always think about how people who never wrote anything might be thinking that they have nothing to write about and I wish that I could tell them that they do.  Everyone knows something, and no matter how stupid you may think that it is, or if it is already common knowledge, it isn't!  Not to everyone.

Anyway, my problem was that if Factoidz rejected my article for being duplicate content, then what can I write about?!  I didn't duplicate anything.  I just sat down, wrote, and submitted it.  I came up with another article today.  It is something that I have never wrote about before, so I really do not see how they can possible reject this one for being duplicate content.  It will either pass or not be good enough for them.

I am so excited!  LOL  I can't hardly wait to see if my 2nd article will be accepted!  Their review will probably take 3 or 4 days.  I have a long wait ahead of me.  If Factoids rejects this article, I can always do like I did before and put it up on List My Five.

Does anyone here really care?  If you would like to know what I chose to write about for my 2nd article on Factoidz, just let me know.  Otherwise, I will keep you all in suspense.  :D

Factoidz again...

I am going to write another article for Factoidz.  I actually had someone sign up under my referral, so I will try again.  Once I write an article on Factoidz and it is accepted, I should feel more comfortable there.  There are so many really nice people on there, and I have heard from more than a few that they had also had at least one article rejected.  lol  Probably none of them were rejected for being 'duplicated content', though.

Now I just need to think of something totally original to write about.  I can't imagine for the life of me why my article was considered 'duplicated content'.  Maybe someone can leave me a suggestion or at least wish me luck?

Oh boy, here I go again...  I will keep you all posted.

New Thoughts on Writing Online Along With an Important Reminder

I guess this would be called 'bouncing back' after yesterday's fiasco.  OK, so I had my first article on Factoidz rejected, stolen, and if that was not enough, I was also slapped with a warning for submitting 'duplicate content' on my own article which I had written word by word, all on my own.  That was pretty awful, but life goes on.  It is not quitting time just yet, and I don't plan on ever quitting, anyway.  Life is full of ups and downs, and so is anyone's journey from rags to riches working at home.

We all need to learn from our mistakes.  Even as children, we had to learn from our mistakes, and this never changes.  We need to find out what we did wrong, and just continue on from there.  Anyway, a great lesson that I learned from my Factoidz experience is that it really IS important to make backup copies of your work.  I never even considered for a second that Factoidz would trash my article.  I mean, come on, either accept it or reject it, don't haul off and steal it.  That was MY article written from my heart with MY knowledge.

I have thought about this all night.  What I am thinking today, which is my new plan, is why not try writing an article right on my blog.  I have a blog.  Why not use it?  Why do writers need writing sites anyway?  Does anyone really need to join a writing site?  What exactly does a writing site do for writers, keep at least half of their income?  Do writing sites generate readers or are all writers generating their own viewers by the titles that they choose along with their quality of writings, and promoting their own works?

This is really something to think about.  When I search for information on the internet, I am not searching for any particular writing site.  I am searching for a particular product, a review, or particular information.  Many times, my search brings me to someone's blog, and I don't hesitate to go there.  Hey, if they have what I am looking for, that is all I need.

Maybe I should write an article about this!  LOL  Once I post this, apparently any article that I would write would be considered 'duplicate content'.  Well, on Factoidz, anyway.

I certainly hope that I haven't shot down anyone's ideas of writing online to earn money by working at home.  Anyone with any kind of desire to get started writing online should do just that.  It is free to get started, and all it takes is your own free time.  At this point, I would probably suggest either writing for List My Five or even just starting your own blog.

Ok, so I am back to feeling disgusted again...

This rots, man!  I was so excited about joining Factoidz.  I wrote my first article, waited three days for them to approve it just to find out that they had decided to reject it.  It's a minor setback, I guess, no big deal.  This is soooooo disgusting, though.  I cannot believe my very first article that I wrote for Factoidz was rejected for being 'duplicate content'!

There's more, too.  I also received this warning for submitting this 'duplicate content'!

"Factoidz maintains a policy of unduplicated content - all submissions must be original, unique, and not already published on other websites. Your submission was found already published, in whole or in part, on another website and has therefore been rejected. Please check that your content is unique before submitting, as future violations may result in account suspension."

Ok, so I sat at my computer, opened up my notepad, started with a blank page, and wrote every single word myself.  If this is 'duplicated contend', I don't know if I even want to write for Factoidz at all anymore.  How can I earn residual income if they end up suspending my account?  Maybe this is not a good site to write for.

It's too bad, too, because I had already found some great some friends there.  Oh well, I guess I just need to take some time to think about this.  If I do end up putting articles up on Factoidz, and they suspend my account, all my hard work will end up being for nothing.

They didn't even return my article to me.  It just vanished!  LOL  That's ok, though.  Luckily, I had kept a copy of it.  I made a few changes, and turned it into a List My Five article.  They take anything.

If anyone is interested in seeing my article that was rejected by Factoidz, here is the link to it:

The Top Five Reasons Why Writing Online IS the New Way to Make Money By Working at Home

At least I didn't let it go to waste.  Now, it's time to rethink!  Maybe I can get some comments here on whether to even try again at Factoidz or to just let it go.

My First Article on Factoidz

I did it!  I wrote my very first article on Factoidz.  I was really nervous about this, because it is a new site for me.  Different sites have different rules and different ways of writing.  I was a little worried about having to make my article at least 400 words, especially since I don't have a word counter.  After clicking on the button to publish my article, I was told that my article could be denied for not being at least 400 words.

So I copied and pasted it into the writing platform on List My Five, and I was thrilled to find out afterwards that it was over 600 words.  Boy, was I nervous, though.  Another thing is that I was told that you can actually see the number of words when you click to preview the article before you click to have it published.  At least I know that now.

I am so excited that I am trying out this new site.  It is pretty scary too, though.  You don't just publish articles on Factoidz like you do on List My Five.  My article will not be published until it is reviewed, and hopefully, it will be accepted.  All I can do now is wait.

I wrote about writing online to make money.  If my article gets turned down, I can always just publish it on List My Five.  I am so eager to see what happens and if Factoidz really does pay more money as I have heard.

Writing Online at Factoidz to Earn Money Working at Home

I am feeling a little more optimistic today about this whole Rags to Riches journey.  I got an earnings update today on List My Five, and I have earned a whopping total of $6.16 so far for the month.  The main thing to consider here is that once you have published an article online it will remain there and continue to earn money for some time to come.  You cannot just look at immediate earnings.  I have earned over $400 so far this year from writing online at eHow, and it has been over a year since I wrote anything there.  Oh, I also earned a whopping $3 or so from my blog.

Anyway, I finally decided to take the plunge and join Factoidz.  I figured that it is always best to write at more than one site anyway after the whole eHow explosion.  I haven't written anything on Factoidz yet, but I have met up with some really awesome people already.  It is always a little scary for me to join a new writing site, because they all have their own rules for writing.

It is free to get started writing for Factoidz, so if anyone is interested in joining and giving it a shot, here is a referral link from a very good friend of mine.

Kind of Disgusted Lately...

Yeah, so I am kind of disgusted lately.  eHow had worked out so well, and it took me so long to even consider getting back to writing online.  I found List My Five, but I am really not earning much money there.  It is still a fairly new site, but I really think that I should be earning more money.

I have been thinking about joining Factoidz lately.  I've had a few friends tell me about how Factoidz pays more money for your articles.  I think I will be checking into that today.  Here, I made this blog hoping that I would have some good news for my readers, and instead, I am getting disgusted with my earnings.  Maybe Factoidz will turn out to be something good.  I'll have to keep you all posted.

I still think that blogging will eventually bring in some good money, but only if I can blog about something good, something that people are really interested in.  I don't know...  This could be it!  It hasn't earned much money yet, but I am pretty sure that patience is the key.  Meanwhile, at least I can save a lot of money by using coupons, and either way, the more I write, the more I will get paid...  eventually.

Vacation

I am sorry that I haven't written much lately.  I am just checking in to let you all know that I am on vacation right now.  Yes, I am still checking in, even while on vacation.  I am keeping up with my List My Five article a day listing streak, too.  As I said before, I really do enjoy my work.  I will be back soon, so don't forget to stop in.

I am thinking about adding links to other money making blogs as well when I get back.  Enjoy your day, everyone!

Saving Money While Trying to Work at Home

For today, I just thought it might be good to add a couple of links to articles that I have written about using coupons and saving money easily.  Anyone who is just starting out working at home trying to earn money should find each of these articles interesting.  These two online articles can be great assets in your life at this time.  Writers usually do not earn much money at the beginning, so these two articles on different ways to save money can really help a lot!

This first article is one of the first articles that I wrote on eHow.  It is still earning money today.

How to Start Using Coupons

I wrote this article on Infobarrel.

How to Find Ways to Save Money When You Don't Think You Have Any Money to Save

I hope you all have a great day, and really, I think you will enjoy reading these two articles.

Other Income Opportunities For Working at Home

First of all, I want to send out a great big thank you to all my viewers!  Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  All readers are greatly appreciated.  I would also like to send out a special welcome to the United Kingdom and New Zealand!  Thanks guys!  Yeah, that really makes me feel good.  I have only made 3 cents so far with my blog, but that's ok.  It is the readers that matter.  I am so happy to be seeing how I really am reaching people from all over the world.  I sure hope that I can help many people through this blog.

For any newcomers, yes, I am still in rags.  I have not made it to the riches yet.  I am working on it, though.  I really do have high hopes for my dreams, too.  That is just the kind of person that I am.  Hopefully, you have found your way here to follow me on my journey to riches by working at home, and not by mistakenly looking for that millionaire who has already reached their dreams.  From what I have seen anyway, a millionaire with a website like this would only be asking for money for their "secrets".  I am not asking for anything here, and I do not plan to, ever.

I have been meaning to let you all know about some of the income opportunities that I have tried that work.  One way that I have made money on the internet is by joining MyPoints.  I have belonged to MyPoints for many years now.  This is a great way to easily earn some extra money from home.  Actually, I just keep earning points and then use them points to get free gift cards.  I mostly get the free gift cards for dining out, because we eat out often.  All you do is read their emails, shop, use coupons, even play games, and stuff.  I hardly ever bought anything through MyPoints or did anything either.  I just click on their emails and visit their sponsors.  I have earned about $150 a year there, at least.  I know that's not much, but I don't do much for it.

Another website that I use to earn money by working at home is InstantCashSweepstakes.  On InstantCashSweepstakes, all you do is answer some simple surveys.  I really mean simple, too.  There are usually four or five questions to answer, and it's actually kind of fun.  You can earn money by answering these questions or by winning one of their free sweepstakes.

The last online site for earning money at home that I will mention for today is InboxDollars.  This money making website has all sorts of ways to earn money.  It is comparable to MyPoints in that they both offer many opportunities to earn money, but mostly all I do there is read their emails and visit their sponsor.  Another thing about this site is that they pay you in real money while MyPoints offers free gift cards for your points.

Feel free to check into these three websites to find some easy ways to earn money by working at home.  These sites will not make you rich, but they are simple ways to earn some money at least.  Thanks again for reading!

Trials and Errors

First of all, thanks to all my readers!  I see I have another one to add to my list, Italy.  Thank you so much for following me in my journey from rags to riches working at home.

Today my post is titled trials and errors, because I have hit a few snags.  I started a new blog for the articles that my friends have written.  It is going pretty well, I guess.  I had one friend who didn't like the color for this main blog.  So, I took their advice and changed it.  That was easy enough.

Another friend doesn't like the looks of my blog for friends.  You know, the entire setup.  I will have to work on that.  It still is new, and I am learning as I go.  I can take a little friendly advice.  That's no problem.  It's just that I really don't know my way around here all that much yet.

One last thing, so far, is that my new blog was called spam.  That was pretty upsetting, but I guess that's what happens when it is loaded with links to many people's articles.  Maybe I can add a little bit about each article that I have a link for, and that will fix it.  Oh, it was also called spam because almost all the links are for articles written on List My Five.  There is no problem there.  That is just my first batch of friends.  Even these friends have many articles that are posted on other internet sites.

It looks like I have a lot of work to do!  The main thing here is to follow my advice, and don't do things like that.  These are trials and errors that everyone can learn from, and they can easily be fixed.

You know, when I first started writing on eHow, I was told by a few of the other online writers that my writings were horrible.  They went so far as to tell me to remove them from their site!  My articles are still there on eHow.  They are still earning money, too.  I sure am glad that I didn't just toss them as garbage like I was told to do.  Yeah, if anyone is new to working at home to earn money, and writing articles online, beware of the forums.  Some people can be quite harsh.

Little did these people know that what they were doing was just pushing me to try harder.  Their cruel comments only made me stronger and gave me the ability to thrive to survive.  There was no way that I was going to throw in the towel.  I started writing more and more articles on eHow, and I sure am glad that I did.  It is all paying off now.

Don't ever let other people bother you.  If you are wanting to earn money by working at home, that is exactly what you should do.  Listen to advice, but follow your heart.  Only you can make that final decision on how to live your own life.  Trials and errors are all a part of life.  We need them to help us to learn and to grow.  Whenever things go wrong, use that to your advantage.  It is, more often than not, quite easy to fix things, too.

I will have to post some more about other things that I have tried that are also great money making opportunities for those who prefer to work at home.  I just had to post this today, because that is what has been on my mind.

Online Articles Written by Friends of snowfence

This is my new blog that I am working on.  I am hoping to make this a great success someday.  I am sure that it will take a lot of hard work, but I am willing to do that.  I really look forward to helping out fellow online writers in any way that I can.  Creating this blog is one way that I thought of that I think might really help other writers as well as readers.  It is already growing with article links, friends, and readers.  Like I said, though, it will need a lot of work.

Articles Written By Friends of snowfence

Super Excited!

I am super excited today.  This blogging thing seems to be going well.  I really wish that I could get more people to add to my Articles Written By Friends of snowfence blog.  It is all still quite new, though.  I have earned my first penny on here, and I already have 5 members.  Thank you all so much for reading and especially for joining my blog.  This is truly an inspiration to keep me going.

I think that what I will need to do today is to go back to all of my previous posts and add links to them.  If there is a chance that someone might visit one of my posts, it would be nice to have some sort of clicking options there.  I always seem to do things wrong and then need to go back and fix them.  I guess that is why or because I am always trying to think of ways to better my business.

My family and friends are not too thrilled about my new blogging or my Online Articles Written by snowfence.  That's ok, though.  They will see someday.  Meanwhile, I am really enjoying my new ventures.  Maybe tomorrow I will post about some work at home opportunities that really do pay.  I am not sure yet.  Again, thank you all so much for your interest.  I cannot thank you enough!

I am not too worried about my family and friends being interested in my blog or business.  After all, as a rule, Family and Friends Do Not Respect Work at Home Writing Businesses.

My First Week

I guess I would say that I am doing quite well with my new blog.  I have had many viewers.  I have reached viewers from the US, Canada, Japan, Germany, and India.  That makes me feel really good.  Thank you all for your valuable time.  Your reading is greatly appreciated!  I really do hope to help as many people as I can with this blog.

I have posted at least once a day here, and I have also created two other blogs.  One is for an entire list of the articles that I have written.  The other blog is dedicated to all my friends.  That blog will be for my friends to add their own links to their own articles that they have written.

I truly hope that this blog will be a great success.  Only time will tell.  Maybe I will go back and start adding links inside my posts.  I am not sure what my next task will be yet, but I do plan on doing all that I can here to help others.

Oh, and I am thinking that maybe I will let my friends actually post on my new blog instead of only commenting with their links.  I will need to get some friends first.  Then, I can add them as authors.

New Blog For Sharing

I am thinking about starting a new blog now.  I was so scared when I first came on here, but that was all for nothing.  This site is very easy to use.  Anyone can start a blog.  I wish I had known that for all these years.  I would have started much sooner.

I won't be starting that new blog just yet.  I am still working on my eHow article links.  Once I get them done, I am thinking about starting a new blog for sharing articles.  By the way, I found out what the labels are for that I was so afraid of.  That is for when people want to search for something specific within your blog.  Adding labels to each post will help your readers to find things easily within your blog.

Anyway, I am thinking about maybe running some kind of contests or something.  I haven't quite figured it out yet.  The winner will have their article posted for the next day.  I might just change my mind and do something totally different.  I am just always looking for more things to do to perfect my work at home business of writing articles online along with promoting my new blog

I guess that is it for today's post.  Thank you so much for your interest!  You reading and following of this blog is truly appreciated.

Helping Others Around the World to Earn Money Working at Home

So far, this blogging is going well.  I haven't made any money on it yet, but it is still new.  I seem to be getting at least some page views.  I am not sure if anyone is actually reading it or following, though.  I really do hope that someday this blog will help someone, somewhere.

Yesterday, I started a new blog for keeping all of my articles in one spot.  Anyone who clicks on my profile will see it there.  I am still working on it, because I have written about 250 articles so far.  Even that blog has been getting some page views already, and I haven't even tweeted it or shared it with anyone.  By the way, as far as friends and family, do not expect them to read your articles.  They really do not care.  If they do, you are really quite lucky.

The Top Five Reasons Not to Be Afraid to Start Your Own Blog For Free

I have always wanted to start my own blog.  I was deathly afraid to get started, though.  I had no idea where or how to start a blog.  After starting this blog, I wrote this article and published it on List My Five.  I had to spread the news that starting a blog is really not that hard to do.  It is free, too.  I hope to help a lot of people with this article.

The Top Five Reasons Not to Be Afraid to Start Your Own Blog For Free

Now, I have started three blogs!  Check my profile to find them easily.

The Top Five Reasons to Start a Journal or a New Blog

I wrote this article to help others to consider making their own blogs.  Ever since I started this blog, I have been having a really great time.  There are many reasons to start a journal or a new blog.  The list is endless.  I just had to share my ideas in the hopes of helping others.

The Top Five Reasons to Start a Journal or a New Blog

I wrote this after creating this blog.  Since then, I started two other blogs.  You can find them on my profile page.  Hopefully, you will enjoy checking out my article on reasons to start a blog.

The Top Five Styles to Choose For Writing Your New Free Blog to Earn Money

I wrote this article in the hopes that it will help people around the world to understand that there are no rules in starting a blog.  You can easily choose your own style for writing.  It is free to blog, so there really is no reason not to at least check it out.  Chances are that you will be pleasantly surprised.

The Top Five Styles to Choose For Writing Your New Free Blog to Earn Money

I have also written other articles along this line, and I plan on writing more articles about this subject as they arise.  That's how I am.  When something strikes me, I write about it.

Follow Me on My Journey From Rags to Riches Working at Home

Just in case anyone is reading this and does not understand what it is all about, I am not one of those filthy rich people who is trying to get someone to join my new scheme by paying for my book, earning money tips, or whatever.  I am only trying to work my way up in the work at home business while blogging my trials and errors.  I have mentioned how I started, what I have gone through so far, and where I have written articles on the internet.  If there is any way that I can help people by starting and maintaining a blog, that would be truly awesome.  You can follow me on my journey from rags to riches and hopefully find something in here that will help you out somewhere in your life and journey to work at home and earn money.

Earning money by working at home is real.  Many people around the world are doing this every single day.  Residual income is real, and I am earning that right now.

Today's post is about what I am doing now.  I am writing articles on List My Five.  List My Five is a fairly new website where anyone can write online and get paid for it.  I am not earning much money there, but I am also new.  I have been writing on List My Five for about a month and 1/2.  I have earned almost $10.  I know that is not much money, but it is usually quite slow getting started at any new site.

When I was writing for the online website called eHow, I made over $100 in my first month.  It all depends on whether or not your articles are attracting many people.  Anyone can write articles online and get paid for it, though.  You just need to be self-motivated and have patience while writing articles and waiting for your money to start coming in.

Here are some of the articles that I have written for List My Five.  You will see that there really is not much to them, but once they are up there on the internet, they will earn money and continue to earn income on down the road.  This work at home opportunity depends mostly on making money on down the road.  Patience is extremely important.  Without patience, you will not go far.

A Year Later

Here it is, exactly a year later.  It took me a long time to finally start writing again after the eHow disaster.  I had eventually joined hubpages, textbroker, bukisa, and infobarrel.  I never wrote anything for hubpages.  I guess it was just too weird being a new site and everything.  Then, textbroker pays per article written.  The more I thought about that, I really did not want to sell articles for a dollar or two.  I knew that my articles were certainly worth more money than that.  I haven't written anything there yet, either.

I actually joined Bukisa and wrote two articles.  I guess I figured I would let them simmer.  I found it best to just wait and see if they would make any money.  I did make a little money on them.  Bukisa had a referral program, too, so I had about 12 people join under me.  I made a few cents from them writing, too.

At Infobarrel, I wrote five articles.  I have not made hardly anything on them.  It is only about 65 cents so far that I have earned between Bukisa and Infobarrel, now that Bukisa and Infobarrel both use google adsense.  Bukisa wasn't using google adsense when I joined, but they are now.  I earned more money there, about $5, before they switched.  I could have written more, but I was still 'testing the waters'.  It was really hard even just thinking about getting started all over again and deciding where to do this.

Here are the articles that I wrote on Bukisa:

How to Check on Your State Income Tax Refund Status
How to Begin a Career Making Money By Writing Online

Here are the articles that I wrote on Infobarrel:

How to Prepare for a Job Interview
How to Stick With That Minimum Wage Job and Be Proud
What You Should Know About Weight Loss to Make Life and Losing Weight Alot Easier
Creating Your Bucket List
How to Find Ways to Save Money When You Don't Think You Have Any Money to Save

I did not expect that starting all over again would be easy.  I just went slow, one step at a time.

Writing For eHow Was Awesome Until They Exploded

I was on the right path.  Writing online for eHow was awesome!  I had really gotten into that.  I was proudly publishing an average of 3 articles a day.  I worked really hard writing article after article.  That only lasted for 2 1/2 months, though.  On April Fool's Day of 2010, the writers for eHow had all received emails stating how eHow was changing their writing platform.  Those writers that were good enough could stay and write online for Demand Studios, and the others could no longer write for them.

I totally would have been accepted into this new Demand Studio thing until eHow suddenly removed 41 of my articles calling them clones and outdated.  By publishing 106 articles and having 41 suddenly removed, this gave my writing online a very low percentage for my writing talents.  These articles were not outdated or cloned.  I had written articles on how to find your state income tax refund status for each state for 2009.  There were many articles that may have seemed alike, but they weren't.  Also, the 2009 state taxes were not even due yet.

My dreams were suddenly crushed.  At first I thought it was an April Fool's Day joke.  It was real, though.  Most of the eHow writers could no longer write.  At least they could not write on eHow any more.  Many of these online writers found new places to write online while others just plain quit and left their dreams behind.  I call it the day eHow exploded.

I was too shaken and upset to find somewhere else to make money by writing articles online.  This whole thing was horrible.  It was a disaster.  I had eventually applied to write for the Examiner, but I was also turned down there.  Maybe I really was a bad writer.  I sulked for awhile, and did nothing.

Here are some of the articles I wrote on eHow:

How to Celebrate Life and Enjoy Every Moment
How to Deal With the Agony of Divorce
How to Get a Military Discount Shopping at Lowe's Everyday
How to Get Over the Fear of Turning 50
How to Get Over the Fear of Having a Colonoscopy

Although I can not write for eHow anymore, I am still earning good money there.  I have earned over $300 from eHow this year, and I haven't written for them in a year.  I truly do Still Love and Respect Ehow for all I have learned and earned from them.

The Reason For the Title of My Blog

The reason for the title of my blog is that eventually, after trying all of these work at home opportunities and squandering all of my hard earned money on these so called jobs that had failed, I had come to the decision that I would never try another work at home job ever again.  It was just too costly, and it took up too much of my time anyway.  Having 5 children and barely being able to make ends meet, I knew that I could not afford to try any more work at home job opportunities.  Although it seemed to be the end for my work at home dreams, I had never stopped thinking about it, and I had never stopped dreaming.  I ended up working 3rd shift for many years just so I could be at home with my children.  That was really rough trying to be up all night working while also being up all day and being there for the kids.  Working 3rd shift really wore me out.

After many years of 'knowing' that I would never be able to make my dream come true, I watched 2 of my daughters get jobs where they were working at home.  They both worked for ChaCha.  They worked on their computers and got paid for answering questions when people texted ChaCha for answers.  I tried to do this myself, but I failed their test.

One of my daughters came to me one day.  She knew how I felt about working at home to earn money.  She was always offering suggestions of which nothing was ever anything that I would even consider getting into after all that I had already been through.  Anyway, she asked me why I don't just write articles online.  She told me that she had joined a website called eHow a few months back and written a couple of 'How to' articles.  She had never continued this, but she was earning a few cents on there.

Boy was I ecstatic!  I had never heard of this before.  I could not believe that it was possible for anyone to write articles online and get paid for it!  I was also quite scared.  After all, I didn't know how to write 'How to' articles.  I didn't know anything that I could write about.  There was no way that I could be helping others by writing articles.  Yet, on the other hand, if she could earn a few cents with a couple of articles, maybe it was possible that I could write many articles online and make some real money.

It was free to join, and you could not be turned down.  This is when it hit me.  I was off and running.  Rags to Riches Working at Home.  Do it or die.  You had to earn at least $10 to get paid, and I figured that I would eventually be able to earn $10, so I started writing online at eHow.

This was the best thing that had ever happened to me in my entire life.  I will always be grateful to my daughter for suggesting writing online to earn an income by working at home.  I put my all into my writings for 2 1/2 months.  Everyone thought that I had gone crazy, except for my daughter.  All of this hard work did payoff.  I earned over $100 writing on eHow in my first month.  You should have seen me dancing around the house when I saw that I had made my first penny!

I'll have to continue this with another post, starting with the reason why I only wrote on eHow for 2 1/2 months since it was such an awesome way to earn money by working at home and I so truly enjoyed it.  I think this post is already long enough.

Here are the first few articles I wrote on eHow:
How to Not Run Out of Money Before Your Next Paycheck
How to Play the Game of Life at Rite Aid
How to Rid Your Home of Junk Mail
How to Get Started Making Money By Working at Home
How to Find Ways to Boost Your Metabolism

The second article is the one that has really changed my life forever.  I really felt stupid publishing that, too.  I thought it was too dumb and I should have deleted it instead.  I still thank God daily that I didn't delete it!

Work at Home Jobs That Have Failed to Earn Money

As a child, I had already begun trying to earn money by working at home.  I tried selling Avon.  That did not turn out very well.  I never sold much except for the things that I bought.  I had a few regular customers, but either way, that is not really working at home.  Well, it was not back then.  I had to go door to door leaving Avon books.  Now, it appears you can sell Avon right online.  Many people are finding this to be a great job for working at home and earning some extra money.  Personally, I am done with selling Avon.

I have also tried many other sales companies where you try to get others to join under you.  I have never got anyone interested enough to do the same thing.  I have tried Changes, Melaluca, and a few others.  All of these earning opportunities require a start-up fee, etc.  I am also done with the various work at home sales companies.  They have always earned me very little money, if any.

Then of course, there are all of the offers that people receive in the mail.  I have tried many of those ways to earn money by working at home.  None of them have worked either.  Envelope stuffing, everyone sending each other one dollar, etc.  Seriously, do not expect anyone to be sending you any dollars.  You know though, I did make one dollar doing that.

For anyone who may be interested in earning money by working at home, these are just a few of the jobs that I would suggest for you not to bother trying.  My father told me that he had tried working at home before, too, and he always told me that it was a waste of time and never to get into trying it.  I guess I figured that it was just him, but I could do it.  Surely, I was more motivated than him.

Although I do not remember this, my own father must have squandered a good deal of money out to work at home and earn money, too.  My suggestion for anyone looking to work at home would be to find something that does not cost you any money to start, not even one penny.

I could go on and on about how I did not make any money with any of my previous ventures, but let me just tell you that writing is an awesome way to earn money by working at home.  It does not cost you anything to start, and it is a very slow start for most, too.  It really does not matter about earning money right away.

My advice would be to just find an online site to join, and start writing.  Many people have been and still are making great amounts of money by writing online.  The only investment needed is your time.

Rags to Riches Working at Home

Well, here I am.  I have wanted to create a blog forever.  I am really scared right now, because I have no idea what to do.  I guess I will just go with the flow, and if anyone ever wants to find out how I went from rags to riches by working at home, they can see all of my steps, ups and downs, etc. from all of my postings.

Once I have posted this very first posting ever on a blog, I guess I will get started with explaining my trials and errors of working at home.  I have tried to make money through many work at home opportunities, none of which were any real money makers.  All they did was to suck up all of the little money that I had to begin with.

As I am typing this, I am wondering what labels are.  LOL  I probably have alot to learn, but that is fine.  I think this blogging thing will be fun.
